Director of Donor Engagement

Position Summary

The Director of Donor Engagement will maintain and grow stakeholder United Way of Palm Beach County experience by leading the customer journey, creating engagement opportunities with current membership groups and can grow in the mission of United Way of Palm Beach County at all touchpoints.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:

• Develops strategic engagement plan to retain and grow maintain customer experiences by 'To and Through' relationship building
• Leads the engagement team by manages in-person and digital experiences to enhance donor engagement
• Manages and develops local affinity groups and committees including Emerging Leaders Society, Women United, Leadership Circle, and any new/additional groups
• Seeks and develops engagement opportunities to encourage donor growth through participation
• Acts as UWPBC ambassador in the community to build partnerships with appropriate Palm Beach County stakeholders and organizations
• Directs and develops customer experience journey within the CRM to ensure best-in-class engagement to grow and retain donors
• Oversees meaningful ways to engage donors year-round, including special events, volunteer opportunities and experiences that reflect United Way's mission
• Works with cross-functional teams in maintaining a consistent brand ecosystem for stakeholders
• Performs other duties and assumes other responsibilities as assigned by supervisor
• Assist with UWPBC disaster relief efforts as assigned

Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities)

• Bachelor's degree in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, Community Development or related field preferred
• 3+ years of experience managing a promotion or customer service team
• 3+ years of experience facilitating and growing membership groups
• Experience working with a CRM database; i.e Hubspot, Salesforce, etc
• Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and proven public speaking experience
• Ability to facilitate collaboration and productive relationships with diverse individuals, groups, organizations, and community
• Stay current with communication, technology, and social trends
• Flexibility and ability to work on multiple high-priority projects
• Solutions focused with the ability solve problems independently, effectively, and creatively
• Volunteer management experience a plus
• Event coordination experience a plus
• Ability to work nights and weekends as needed
