Engagement Manager

Purpose

To directly contribute to the mission of United Way of Palm Beach County by delivering the organizations customer journey across touchpoints as a part of the engagement team.

Responsibilities

• Deliver the United Way of Palm Beach County's mission through messaging across touchpoints to all stakeholders.
• Execute engagement plans and strategies through digital and in-person communications
• Maintain organizational database and systems which deliver organizations ongoing message
• Develop new ideas to engage customers along the journey touchpoints.
• Manage and coordinate process of communications with donors
• Write communications that increase donor connection with the organization
• Organize, coordinate engagement events
• Coordinates with internal staff and funded partners to schedule agency speakers, client speakers, and agency tours for campaigns and Resource Development events.
• Manage routine and requested clerical tasks for engagement team including budget tracking, expense reports, donor designation requests, etc.
• Assist, as needed, with the organization's disaster response efforts
• Collaborate with Marketing with campaign/affinity group related websites, fliers, and e-mail marketing
• Other duties as assigned.

Education/Experience

• bachelor's degree preferred
• 3+ years of Marketing or Communication experience preferred
• Experience managing a database and customer communications.
• Strong organizational, time management, interpersonal and communication skills
• Flexible to changes and ability to work independently and have strong problem-solving skills
• Significant knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite software
• Knowledge of graphic design software (Canva) and social media marketing (Constant Contact, Wordpress, Facebook, Instagram)
• Accurate word processing, excellent follow-up, and general office procedure experience required
